Battlefield archaeology

Battlefield archaeology is divided into two variations: archaeology of a battlefield with the battle itself as period of interest or archaeology in areas that saw battle of later date than the period of interest. For both cases we provide the combined skills of UXO expertise and archaeology.

Our archaeologists are trained and certified for working in UXO contaminated areas whereas our UXO experts are skilled in removal of ordnance in a way that objects and traces of archaeological interest are not disturbed. Since former battlefields are home to potentially identifyable missing servicemen we are experienced in dealing with human remains in battlefield context to ensure proper excavation and transfer of human remains to authorities. It is our aim to meet archaeological research objectives and guarantee a safe working environment in the shortest time possible.
