ADEDE was appointed to perform both the archaeological survey and the UXO expedition at Rieme
During this campaign archaeological remains were found dating back to the Stone Age . Various bomb craters were found during the trench excavation at the height of the planned park with the construction of playing hills, paths, wadi and canals.

The UXO investigation started of with an electromagnetic survey. After processing and selecting suspicious anomalies, these points were dug up by our team of UXO experts. Between January and April, no less than 3 aircraft bombs of the type 1000 lb General-purpose bomb (approx. 453 kg) were found.
These were defused and cleared by DOVO.
